Accommodation at Chobe Chilwero is, appropriately, elephantine in all respects. From the massive four-poster beds, to the gargantuan bathrooms, complete with free-standing tub and two showers, the 15 safari houses are pure luxury.
Covering 60 sq m, the suites also have large shaded verandas and a private garden with hammocks and a thatched gazebo with a view of the Chobe River.
The living area is equally sublime where a fine dining experience awaits. Facing the river, enjoy silver service beneath the stars with the occasional herd of elephants tramping past.
Chobe Chilwero has a complete spa with full time staff and range of treatments, therapies and relaxation sessions available should the rigours of a five-star luxury safari lodge become too burdensome.
