Düsternbrook Farm is 50km north-west of Windhoek, en route to Etosha and before the turn-off for Swakopmund. It has been in the Vaatz family since 1942 and in operation since 1962. Under the guidance of Johann Vaatz, the 14,000ha farm has become home to numerous plains game as well as a leopard and cheetah protection programme.
