The Kunene River in the north of Namibia extends for 325km on the country’s border with Angola. Ranging from thundering waterfalls and furious white-water rapids to serene rock pools and tranquil streams; the river meanders along the surrounding landscape, attracting a plethora of wildlife to its varied banks.



Located in the country's Kaokoland region, the Epupa Falls are found approximately 190km upstream of the Kunene River mouth and are becoming an increasingly popular tourist attraction.
