Family friendly, there’s plenty to do. Track turtles (in season), snorkel the coral reefs, go fishing, visit Lake Sibaya for a sundowner or some kayaking. Its sheer size is seriously impressive and it’s home to hundreds of crocs and hippos. Explore the open ocean, take a guided walk in the forest or simply laze on the beach while the kids build sand castles. It’s surreal and it’s all yours (along with only the other guests in camp), there’s so much space on this private stretch of pristine beach, you need not share it with anyone. Relax and enjoy a spa treatment.
A place as special as this is worth visiting at any time of year, but if you want to see the turtles then visit between November and February when they breed, for the best in beach weather visit between April and June and if you’re all about the scuba, it’s best during summer between December and May.
The location is remote. It takes some serious 4x4 skill to get there. Don’t want to drive yourself? No problem you can transfer from Sodwana daily at 12:00 or 15:00 (at an additional charge).
This really is a slice of paradise and when we say this is paradise, we mean it. Does it get any better? Sure it does. Add a cocktail and voila. Welcome to what is possibly one of the most incredible places you’ve ever visited.
